POWER POLITICS VS KINGDOM highest POWER by Narcisse J.A. Nana

Chaos politics is what has been put into public dress rehearsal during the Paris 2O24 Olympics. It was a free comedy show to stage and prepare us for the upcoming political drama in world power politics. "Ordo ab chao" is the motto of the Dionysiac adepts in power politics. It is represented by Dionysus whose common feature is found in his modus operandi: killing, destroying, stealing, and governing via chaos engineering as social order. Dionysus’ distinctive feature is recorded in his nickname: "He who delights in the sword and bloodshed". The clone or duplicate of Dionysus is Ishtar/ Hermes. Ishtar is the goddess of war and perverted sexuality or union. Hermes is the sophisticated incarnation of the trickster, amoral in character, patron of thieves, cunning, master in mischief, prone to challenge the established order. All who drank from Dionysus’ cup of wine become graduates in insanity, violence, bottomless perversion, debauchery, and chaos. Thomas Hobbes codified the absolute rule in power politics as “brutish, nasty, solitary, and short“. The common feature of the Dionysiac rituals is "phallophonia", or the carrying round of a large wood phallus, symbol of violence by way of achieving means. Theophagy or "eating the god" to emulate the violent nature of the god was the central rite of the Dionysiac orgies.

Yet, this raw doctrine of chaos politics is antithetical to Christ’s Kingdom highest power. Seemingly, Gnostic teaching has hijacked Christian theology of religious meal by imposing the Dionysiac narratives to the believers. Christ's table of bread and wine is antithetical to Dionysus' supper chaos and bloodshed. Wine represents the Holy Spirit who governs by righteousness, love, order, and justice. Bread is symbol of God’s Word. Thus, Christ, the ruler of Life, saves from death, violence and chaos. Wine and bread in Christ are the cure against death, chaos, and destruction. Christ's supper is a call to salvation from death. The Kingdom highest power comes to restore life, not to bring chaos, violence, and destruction. God’s power restores peace. Power politics governs through violence and chaos. The Kingdom power governs to save life from destruction and restore joy.
